I think you mean CA125. Without wishing to worry you it's a test (marker) for cancer.
But other things can raise this marker. I had raised CA125 when I had an ovarian cyst. If your CA125 is raise the GP will send you for further tests.
I had an ultrasound scan both external and internal and everything was fine. Over a few years I had 2 cysts with high CA125 both times and everything was fine and the cysts went away on their own. I presented at the GPS with severe one-sided pelvic pain which prompted the investigations.
Please don't worry but if you're offered further tests, please go for them.
Please don't worry. Often CA125 is raised for other reasons, but just listen to what the doctors say and always go for any tests that they recommend. Good luck. xxx
