I've turned into a monster. Thrown my husbands clothes out of window and pulled curtains down. But I only bully him.

Nor I despite feeling otherwise reasonably well, if fat. I have put this down to reducing my T3 subsequent to a BH blood test; just looking at it again it was in range, near the top but T4 low (so what) and TSH 0.02 (ditto). Have always been quite proud that what little brain fog I had was usually caught by a spellchecker but for some reason which eludes me, I reduced following that test and have only just in the last few days put myself back on my previous dose.

Normal service should shortly be resumed but that is of little comfort to the chap who parked in front of our garages on Monday evening. I believe his ears will still be ringing from my full on vituperative fishwife impersonation... 😳

You have no thyroid. If you only take Levo the chances are that your levels of Free T3 are in your boots and that will affect your emotions.

Unfortunately, because of the total and utter stupidity and sadism of doctors on the subject of thyroid treatment, and the stupidity of the NHS purchasing methods, the vast majority of doctors now say they can't prescribe T3 because its too expensive and/or they say it isn't necessary for anyone anyway.

You could buy your own T3 online. It would be worth getting a full set of thyroid and nutrient tests before doing so though.

There is another possibility. I had problems with almost uncontrollable rage before I gave up gluten. Once I became 100% gluten-free my anger problems (mostly) vanished. If I have problems these days it usually turns out that something I've eaten contained gluten.

gluten free diet gives me more energy but it is really hard to keep checking the products about gluten.

I agree. I still resent having to be gluten free. But being so angry all the time wasn't fun either, and I'm kinda getting used to it a bit now. But I still drool over pastries and puddings and cakes sometimes. And I would love to eat a jam doughnut.
