About 12 years ago i was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and was gradually treated with 175mcg of Levothyroxine. For about 1 year now i've suffered with memory loss, concentration issues and mood swings to name but a few. The doctor checked my levels and they were fine. They did find that my iron was badly out so they gave me some Ferrous Sulphate which eventually got my levels back to, what the doctor said was good for me as my mother had also the same problem with her iron levels.
I had an MRI scan just before Christmas which showed i had Empty Sella Syndrome and also an abnormalities.
The doctor got me an appointment with a Neurologist and an Endocrynologist. I saw the Neurologist a few week ago which was concerned with the MRI scan and also linked that with my lack of Thyroid. She also asked if i had any blood checks for my Vitamins, but i hadn't, so she's going to instruct my doctor to do the tests. So waiting for my doctor to receive the Neurologists letter.
Still waiting to see the Endocrynologist which is in May.
