advice and help please
Hidden The thyroid tests you need are
TSH
FT4
FT3
Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) Antibodies
Thyroglobulin (TG) Antibodies
And as your ferritin is low your GP should do a full iron panel plus
Vit D
B12
Folate
If your GP won't do them, and the chance of getting FT3 are extremely slim, and TG Antibodies likewise, then you can get all those thyroid tests plus vitamins and minerals with a home fingerprick blood test (or blood draw if your surgery is willing) from Blue Horizon
bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk/T...
Optimal levels of vitamins and minerals (not just 'in range') are necessary for thyroid hormone to work.
Wait until you have full tests results and see what your GP says before thinking about self medicating. Post your results on here for members to comment.
hi seaside Susie thankyou so much for that advice.its so frustrating that no one seems to be able to help.
Scoobydoo246,
Hasn't your GP prescribed Levothyroxine?

hi clutter yes im on 125 of levo but as I say my thyroid is all over the place.my gp cant control it that's why she referredd me and the specialist did nothing....ive emailed louise but they are all miles away.i was hoping there may be someone around the west midlands area thanks
Hidden As your thyroid is all over the place, I'm surprised that your endo hasn't tested antibodies. He's probably a diabetes specialist, most of them are hence they don't have a clue about thyroid.
