I remember reading somewhere that they need to be taken in the morning before 1pm - otherwise it can affect your sleep later. I take adrenal cortex around 10am every morning. Not sure where I read this though - I'm afraid I don't have a link to show you.
Thanks Caroline. As per Dr P's instructions I take them before 1pm but was looking for the optimum times to take them, a bit like what Paul Robinson did with the CT3M.
Ah right! In that case I'm afraid I don't know. I haven't heard anything about taking them at specific times. Sorry! I hope, whatever you try, they work for you. I think mine is helping (I feel much worse without it) - but I have been ill for a very long time so I guess it will take a long time to work well.
Here's a circadian rhythm dosing sheet for cortisol which I assume would apply to glanduluars.

I have been put forward for a chronic fatigue clinic I wonder if they will look into cortisol? In the article below they discuss cortisol with chronic fatigue and the NHS now recognises CF as a medical condition.

"I wonder if they will look into cortisol?"
Certainly they didn't when I was referred to the CFS clinic - but that was quite a long time ago. It was just all about pacing and cognitive behavioural therapy, plus trying to get me to take amytriptilene (spelling?). Maybe they've moved on since then though? We can but hope! It's worth a try though - good luck!
Thanks for the info. Antidepressants and a welcome to the crazy gang, gosh what have I got myself into. Knowing the NHS they may have moved buildings but not alot else
Ha! Hopefully, it will be different now - this was a long time ago. I don't want to put you off going - just preparing you not to expect too much. I hope I'm wrong, though, and you find it really useful. My own experience has been that I've ended up having to do-it-myself when it comes to health issues. I'd never have known about thyroid and adrenal issues if it wasn't for this wonderful forum.
