I've not heard of anyone becoming anaemic after having RAI to ablate their thyroid gland. It's possible that you were using up vitamins and minerals faster than you could replace them when you were hyperthyroid and that's why you became anaemic.
I did not have that problem after RAI. But I did have lots of other problems as levo is the WRONG medicine for those without a working thyroid. NDT sorted that out. After RAI you will eventually develop hypothyroidism.
