Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I am finding it very helpful - thank you! My question is : Does anyone out there suffer from weight loss? I know a lot of you suffer with weight gain, but I suffer with weight loss! I feel I am the only person who suffers with this and has Hashimotos disease

There are a few of us who have unwelcome weight loss.

I've always been under weight but rapidly increased 2 dress sizes and gained 13kg in 6-8 months. I suspect that was the start of Hashimoto's. 3 or 4 years later I began to feel very unwell and lost 13kg in 10 months. Hashimoto's was diagnosed but I was euthyroid so wasn't on meds. I had thyroidectomy as thyroid cancer was diagnosed 9 months later and lose more weight when I was switched from Liothyronine (T3) to Levothyroxine. I was advised to eat frequent small meals to maintain weight and found protein shakes helped me gain a little weight.
