increasing a T3 dose

Hi,

Thanks for this very useful blog, I have been reading it for a while now. My partner had her thyroid removed many years ago and was on T4 only. Early this year she had a health crash and we persuaded the consultant to let her try T4/T3 combination.

She has been steadily improving with this but if she has 2 or 3 pretty active days she seems to take a big dip where she needs to rest and replenish her T3 stocks. We feel she needs a slight increase in her T3 medication, as a health professional she is very aware of when she over medicates and also when she is under medicated.

We asked the consultant for this but she said my partner is within NHS guidlines so will not offer an increase. Could somebody please PM me with any private suppliers we could use. I would rather have a trusted source than just take pot luck on the internet with a supplier.
