Dawnuk,
I would ask your endo for the lab ref ranges of your results next next time you are in clinic.
VitD 62 is sub optimal. 75-200 is replete and most people are comfortable with vitD around 100. I would supplement 5,000iu D3 daily for 6 weeks and then reduce to 5,000iu alternate days until April when ultraviolet light is high enough to stimulate natural vitD.

I would agree with Clutter, you need vitamin D higher, around 100.
Mine has taken over 6 months to slowly climb from 32 to 99 on 6000iu daily. I am only now slowly reducing dose. I take mix of Solgar soft gels and Better You oral vitamin D mouth spray - this mouth spray seems to work better for me, but I have confirmed poor gut absorption issues (often the cause of low vitamin D, as not getting any from diet)
This vitamin D app is very useful
Costs ablout £1.50 to download. Put your personal data from blood test results in. Calcium and PTH too, if you have them. Produces graphs of progress over time & where you are now. Very good for printing off and showing endo/GP that actually 62 is low
