AF and hypothyroidism

Self Treating my AF and hypothyroidism. Diagnosed both conditions through lab tests that I purchased myself, as most drs dontvbelieve in AF and the numbers in hypothyroidism. My TSH is high, FT4 low, and FT3 mid low range. So frustrated...looking for a dr who can actually help.

Hi - share your frustration on the hypothyroidism and am concerned myself about the possibility of Afib but and I could be wrong don't think you can diagnose Afib through blood tests. What I would say is that there are such similarities palpitations can be a symptom of thyroid problems what blood tests make you think you have afib?

Worth sharing the results and reference ranges - I am sure someone will be able to comment more informedly on here on your concerns.

Take care

That was my initial thought too SusieAG, but then I re-read the post and I think that maybe AF may refer to Adrenal fatigue.

Thank you guys! You are awesome! Yes, it's Adrenal fatigue. My thyroid #'s are:

TSH - 3.44 range is :0.450-4.500 uIU/mL

FT4- o.88 range is: 0.82-1.77 ng/dl

FT3-2.7 range is:2.0-4.4 pg/ml

Thyroglobulin antibody <1.0 range 0.0-0.9

Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) Ab 7 range:0-34

AF - morning is:4.7 range:3.7-9.5

Noon -1.7 range: 1.2-3.0

Evening-0.8 range is:0.6-1.9

Night-0.3 range: 0.4-1.0

Low cortisol all at bottom normal range. Dont know what came first,"AF or hypothyroidism. Most experts say address adrenals first, then hypo. I am currently on Naturethroid- 37.5 in the morningvand 37.5 in afternoon. Just started taking NT 2 weeks ago. Havent felt much difference. Afraid Im doing it wrong. But Ive been trying to address adrenals for last 10 years and nothing is really getting better! Found a dr to prescribe naturethroid , but he isnt too knowledgeable in the rest of it. Just asked dr charles Brummer to work with me (misslizzy's dr), even though he is out of state. Im in CA . Havent heard back yet. So basically been trying to figure this out myself. BTW, was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue 17 yrs ago. Any suggestions would be sooo appreciated!

Forgot to mention that I also had a benign goiter back in 1997-98? It waa big enough to see and feel. They biopsied it and it shrunk. Results came back benign . wondering if that was the beginning of my hypothyroidism?
