Angelamargaret,

I would not consider you to be over medicated on these results if you felt well or were showing hypo symptoms. Many members need to medicate enough thyroid hormone replacement to lower the TSH below range in order to function well.

Have you had Vit B12, Vit D, violate and ferritin tested as optimal levels are needed for many who take thyroid hormone replacement ? ? . If you advise of symptoms and any other test results, members will comment.

Angelamargaret Despite such a low TSH, there is very little FT4. Before reducing Levo and introducing T3 you need to know what your FT3 level is, taken at the same blood draw as FT4. You need both lots of results do you can work out how much T3 to add and if Levo does actually need reducing.

It can sometimes be a very difficult balancing act. You may even be someone who only does well on T3 only. However, if you get all your vitamins and minerals at optimal levels that will be a good start and you won't have to worry that they're contributing to your problems. Then when you've got both your FT4 and FT3 results you can see what's happening there.

T3 is very potent and can cause problems if not introduced gradually so do take care :) .
