Why would my thyroid doctor tell me to go to a rheumatologist when I was telling her about my hair falling out and she knows I have osteoporosis I just told her all my symptoms are the same like I'm not even taking medication I think she is fairly new and doesn't know much about my condition because she had to ask the head specialist to come into the room to hear my case

Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune problem, maybe she is trying to rule this out as a cause for your symtoms. Or maybe sending you elsewhere just gets her off the hook!

I hope they get to the root of the problem, and you can feel better. The more you read on here, the more you will understand the condition and be able to get yourself well as many of us are doing. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
