Can anyone share their experiences of Cytomel or Perrigo Liothyronine? And getting either on Named Patient Basis?

Hello folks,

Earlier this year (April) I started self medicating with Uni-Pharma Liothyronine, taking 12.5mcg daily, along with 125mcg of prescribed Levothyroxine.

I found an improvement in my symptoms and managed to convince my Endocrinologist to prescribe me T3. He put me on 20mcg of Mercury Pharma Lio, along with the 125mcg of Levo.

However my symptoms returned, and so I went back to the Uni-Pharma, and once more my symptoms improved.

So it would seem that Mercury Pharma Lio does not work well for me and I am planning to ask my Endo to prescribe me either Cytomel or Perrigo Lio on a Named Patient Basis.

So, my questions are:

a) Does anyone have experience of either of these brands of Lio, or, if both have been tried did one seem any better than the other?

and

b) Does anyone have any experience of being prescribed either of these on a Named Patient Basis and do you have any tips for going about this?

Thanks for reading :)
