Levo ingredients. maize allergy

Just received my 1st issue of harmony from thyroid uk and after reading "what's in your medicine " I checked my boxes and they contain maize which I have a bad reaction too ,so frustrating to learn this . Just glad I did check annoying that is I've told my gp my allergy test results

UK and German Levothyroxine brands all contain Maize starch. If it is causing you a problem ask your GP to prescribe liquid Levothyroxine which doesn't have fillers. Your GP probably won't be very happy as liquid Levothyroxine is expensive.

I am intolerant to maize too! I am avoiding maize with the help of my pharmacist as the doctor is no help at all.
