Thinking of seeing a Homeopathic Nutritionist - Great Idea or another waste of money?

Hello everyone,

I have seen various professionals at great cost with no benefit, on occasions been made worse. So before I rush off and make the appointment, I wondered if people could share there opinions/experiences?

Thank you

I guess it depends on what you're wanting to get from the appointment. Perhaps ask for recommendations in your part of the country although presumably being homeopathic narrows the choice down somewhat.

Thank you Cinnamon_girl. I am in the UK and found one quite close to work, I will keep an open mind.

Well I dont know. It would serve your general good health. For some homeopathy works great. For others not. Sorry thats not much help. Acuouncture has a good track record have you tried that?

PS, why not explain your situation to the practitioner and ask to make you an offer?. Otherwise you just have to bite the proverbial bullet and try the first time!

Good morning Claire-bhavani,

Thank you for your advice, I did try Acupuncture but I didn't really notice any improvements.

I am a bit nervous as I don't want to be made any worse. My Mum had Gelsenium from over the counter and it was fantastic for her.

Best wishes

Have a look at my recent post about feeling great on homepathic remedys. I would certainly recommend.

Hello Mandyjane,

I haven't seen your post, I will look for that. Thank you very much.

Do you have to continue taking homeopatic remedies for life?

I dont think you take them for life. a homepath responded to my post and said that the though I had been on my remedys for a long time. Thats a couple of months.

I'm thinking of going to a naturapath who looks at nutrition for health. I can only suggest you make sure you find one that has reached the required standard. I'm assuming you are in the UK, if so check out the British Naturapathic association, the British homeopathic association or the British nutrition foundation, if you haven't already!

I can recommend naturopathic nutritionists- well, I would, I'm training with them (although I'm going off to herbal medicine rather than nutrition). I can recommend someone near Birmingham ?

Definitely worth doing, will give great advice- ask where their training is from. .

Thank you Bluedragon, Good luck with your training.

Birmingham is quite a way from me but saying that, I am happy to travel.

Best wishes
