Thyroxine and NDT

Hi all I am currently taking Armour 2 grain and the my doctor suggested to take 50 mg of Thyroxine and 1 grain of NDT to keep the cost down is anybody taking this combination please advise thanks

Have you tried generic NP Thyroid by Acella? My pharmacist filled it instead of Armour it's fine for me and I also got a discount at Publix making it even more reasonable.

It depends if you're happy now or whether cost is the main concern for swapping?

Have you tried the Thai ndt? They're cheap as chips. I spent £40 on 1000 grains...

Hi Apple0.

I take 75mcg of Levo and 1/4 grain of Erfa. Cost is not the reason, I seem to struggle with a higher ratio of T3/T4.

It is working well for me at the moment.

I think the mantra is to go with how you feel, your body will tell you if its not the right combination of meds.
