Help! I take 100mg of levothyroxine what dosage should I take for t3 please ? Xxx

Hi, I'm not sure of my results. What I do know though is that I paid to see an endrochronologist privately and he doubled my dose of thyroxine to 200 instead of 100. I also hired a nutritionist and 5 years later ... Still no weight loss.my GP put me back to 100mg which I have been on for the last year. I've got the T3 now but no idea what dosage to start off on 😩

Start low and build up over a few weeks.

How low should I start though, 25mg? X

I started with 1/4 tablet and built up by a 1/4 every 2 / 3 weeks. It would prob be best to onto your your Dr to find out your ft4 & ft3 levels (with the ranges) first though to make sure you don't over medicate.

It also depends whether you want to just add T3 to your T4, or if you want to go T3 only.
