For what it is worth, I have always taken mine at bedtime. (Deferring until after blood draw when having a test.)
I started taking mine at bedtime in March after taking it in the morning for 18 years. I changed it primarily because it was easier with all the supplements I take. Some are 2 hours before food, or 4 hours after so this makes life easier. Difficult to say if that made a difference though. I'm certainly feeling much better but think it is mainly due to the supplements and injecting b12.
Let us know if you feel different.
Over the years I've taken mine on rising, at bedtime and currently during the early hours of the morning when I need the loo. I've never noticed a difference in how I feel. The best, for convenience of taking supplements, is taking it in the early hours as that's as far away from them as possible.
Give it a try, see what's best for you.
I noticed a massive difference when I started taking mine at night, the difference was almost immediate too x

I find taking at night much better too.
Also as a bonus stops me raiding the fridge in the evening, as need to not eat or drink (other than water) for two hours before
Not sure if it was down to the time, or that when I took in morning I used to have cup of tea with it. (Milk perhaps reduced uptake)
I set my clock half an hour before I have to get up and take then, then I can enjoy my coffee in the morning
