Thyroid complex: Some advice please today I... - Thyroid UK
Thyroid complex
It seems to contain selenium, iodine and B Vits 1, 2 and 3. Unless you're deficient you don't need iodine, the selenium is fine but you might be better with a good B Complex as B6 is needed as well.

I think it would be a better idea to get Vit D, B12, ferritin and folate tested, get them to optimal levels by supplementing where necessary which will help thyroid hormone to work properly. Either ask your GP or get them tested privately through Blue Horizon.
Do you have any test results to share (thyroid and/or otherwise) so that members can make suggestions?
Angela,
Viridian Thyroid Complex contains iodine which should not be supplemented unless proven to be deficient. Medicating Levothyroxine will give you the correct amount of iodine required for good thyroid hormone synthesis.
The rest of the ingredients are good and the Olive Leaf is an antioxidant -good for the liver where thyroid hormones are converted.
Strangely, I also found this study where dry olive leaf extract has a proven protective ability to reduce DNA damage induced by hyperthyroidism ! ! .
.
Thank you for replys I am due for a blood test soon which is just the early routine cheek up anything else will have to go private
