Hi all went back to docs saw a different one he's sending me for another blood test I asked him what my TSH was at last test and he said 0.16 so it is fine I wrote down all symptons and told him other women in my family has it but I don't think he's interested oh well will see what this result says will go early in the morning with fasting x

Do you know what tests are being done? You really need FT4 as well as TSH, and FT3 would be good but I doubt they'll do it. It would be a good idea if Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies are done as well (ask for Thyroglobulin antibodies too).

Ask the receptionists for a printed copy of your blood test results. Make sure you have some id on you and be prepared to pay a few pence for it. Also be aware that you may have to wait a few days to be able to go and get a copy of the print out.

If they are nosey and ask you why you want them just state for your own records.
