I think it was discussed in your thread of two years ago. Do you have any recent results that may indicate a LOW FT3 ..... It can affect the heart beat as can LOW iron ....
My doctors does give any results and I don't like to ask because am not sure what am talking about but been feeling really rubbish just tired all the time but can't sleep, lack of concentration and feeling a bit depressed.
You are legally entitled to YOUR own results so you can monitor your progress. I do not wish to offend but you have come to this forum for advice and I am trying my best. So do ask your GP practice for copies and ensure the results have their ranges. Then come here for help - so you do not have to understand the results - someone here will help you - as so many of us do every day. Post the results in a NEW post with the ranges and people will advise and comment.
In order to be well we have to take control of our own health and the starting point is obtaining your results with ranges. Doctors so often tell you everything is Normal - when they mean in range - but sadly the results are often VERY low in the range which is not enough to make you feel well. Like trying to run your car with petrol but no oil .....
Low thyroid hormones - Low B12 - Low VitD - Low Iron will make you feel rubbish - tired - lacking in sleep and concentration and low mood.
I have booked blood test for this Wednesday do I just asked the doctor for a copy of the blood test.
When you have the results you ask at Reception for copies.

Then post the results here3 in a NEW post. do not forget the ranges as labs do vary ....
I absolutely do! I'm recently diagnosed hypo, not on any treatment yet - endo appointment tomorrow so praying that results in treatment! I suffer really irregular heartbeat which I put down to genetics as my mum has a benign arrhythmia but didn't realise it could be a hypo symptom. Get palpitations really noticeably once a day, often in the evening. My resting heart rate is also rock bottom at around 40bpm but goes as low as 35, this I do know could be hypo related. Will look for the previous post Marz mentions...

Think this is the one !
What is your FT3 level - you need good T3 for the heart - as well as the brain !
Hi yes I had that too. In fact really it was that and a low ish heart rate that seemed to prompt my GP to look at thyroid issues originally.
Since Levo they have virtually stopped.
Hope you get the help you need soon.
Yes I am Hypo and have an irregular heart beat, a NHS relative tested my pulse and said how unusual it was and had not come across one like it. It made me laugh, I am not worried as I have known for years I have had an odd heart beat, my Mum too is hypo and has AF I think it is called, but I do not want to go on any NHS prescribed medication.
My way of thinking is I have lived OK up till now, my irregular heartbeat has not killed me off 'yet', so I will carry on as normal, whatever normal is. ?
No idea M it has never been done, my ferritin was lowish, so I was supplementing, I feel great on NDT now, so not doing any testing, trying to keep away from the Doctors.
Thank you M, feeling great, as in 'far greater than I was on Levo,' though nothing's perfect.
