Poor appetite /bloated tummy ..

Hi there ...

i have hyperthyroid and just newly diagnosed ....wanted some advice about appetite loss ...

i myself have practically a nil appetite just feel not hungry at all most of the time ....yes i have weight loss due to hyperthyroid and poor appetite ...but my tummy is always bloated and looks like i am pregnant lol which is so not the case ....lol

i do eat when i do ear that is ...more carbs ..like say wholemeal breads/rolls and more oat type cereals than actually a dinner as cannot seem or have no appetite for a whole dinner .....I do drink plenty of decaf coffee and decaff tea .....

so just wanted to ask if any other members are like me also any any advice please ..

being ...no appetite and bloated tummy ...and eats most carb as a whole dinner is just not able to eat etc ..

Hippychic,

It can be helpful to eat small frequent meals when you have no appetite and this will help you maintain weight.  Eating a lot of carbs may be why you are experiencing bloating.
