Hiya, I have Hashimoto's and my tsh has varied between 0 and 38 over the past few months. last check it was tsh 2.6 and I am kept on 75mcg of Levothyroxine. I am due to see an endo in 2 weeks to do more tests but the last few days I am feeling hot, so shaky, nauseous and like I am going to pass out.. do you think I could be hyper?

Hi katielou just come across your post and wondering how you are? I suffer from similar symptoms and I'm on the same dose of thyroxine as you. Sincerely hope when you see the endo you get some help and answers. Wishing you well x

Hello Silverlady5. I have a 9 month old baby and Breastfeeding so my hormones and thyroid levels have been constantly fluctuating. Before diagnosis of Hashimotos my main symptoms were tiredness, headaches and hairloss...since ive been on thyroxine, I have so many more symptoms and alot of them to do with dizziness, anxiety and insomnia...I wish id never started this drug as I never seem to find a happy medium. I have gone gluten free (2 years) and am so fed up feeling constantly unwell, I used to be so upbeat and now I feel like a different person fluctuating from hyper to hypo symtoms. I will let you know what endo says next week, although suspect I will be fobbed off as usual x

Hi katielou1980 just come across post to you a month ago and you were due to see an endo just wondering how you got on.

I haven't been too good again and got my GP to refer me to an endo recommended by someone on this site and who has good results with him so fingers crossed I might get somewhere. I was refered last year to another hospital and I've not had an appointment and I can only think they are looking at past blood tests and looking at the TSH which as we know is no indication of how we feel. My GP last week said results are all in normal range. I certainly don't feel normal!!

Sincerely hope you are getting better and the baby is doing well xx

Hi, thanks for your message and well wishes. I saw my endo who just said everything is fine , see you in 6 months despite me advises I feel like I have a tight collar around my neck and know I akready have a nodular goiter which hasnt been scanned in 2 years (previous nodules 1cm in size). I am now reading up on things myself and taking vit D, vit B12 and eating organic brazil nuts daily to up my selenium levels. I have no faith in my go or endo at all. How are you feeling?

Hi there so sorry you had that experience with your endo it seems so unfair when we know things aren't right that they choose to ignore what we are saying. Reading up and taking vitamins are certainly a good thing really hope that helps you.

I'm not too bad at the moment thank you. I'm still getting hot sweats and palpitations but more in the night than any other time.

My GP has made a new referral to an endo recommended on here by someone so I have everything crossed that will be of help.

You take good care of yourself and keep in touch x
