What is the difference between a post and a question? Who is everyone as opposed to community?

I'm not sure of the difference between a post and a question, but if I'm hoping for replies to a question I have I always categorise it as a question.

But the difference between "community" and "everyone" is all about whether your post is private on Health Unlocked only or not. If you tick "community" then only those people who are members of this group will see it. If you tick "everyone" then the post is searchable across the whole of the internet - ie. it can show up in search results on the topic across the internet. Many people here like to keep their posts/questions private to this group only. Also, if your post is open to everyone, some people are reluctant to answer as then their answers will be searchable across the internet too.

Teenarocks, Before the forum was updated a couple of years ago Questions and Posts appeared separately. Questions is obvious, Posts were information which members wanted to share. Maybe Q & P remain in case HU want to revert in the future.

As CarolineC57 explains, Everyone means the member's username and the content of their post is viewable to anyone and everyone whereas locking to community hides the member's username and although the first line or two of the post is visible only members who sign up to TUK can read the full content.
