I have my annual thyroid test with doctor it says on form to avoid red meat and drink plenty of fluids for most accurate test results.This is a new one on me!I can understand plenty of fluids for good blood withdrawal has anyone heard of no red meat though.

VanessaB, no red meat is a new one on me but fasting (water only) is recommended as TSH drops post-prandially.
