RT3

Does anyone know how you expect to feel the time when your Reverse T3 clears. Do you go a little hyper, not need so much t3 anymore or perhaps a little hypo, needing a little more t3 now receptor cells are clear.

Jobeth, you may feel overmedicated and need to reduce your T3 dose substantially, perhaps as much as two-thirds less.

I think it might depend how much T3 you're taking.

Then you must either get labs dones, or go by how you feel.

When I was clearing my rt3 I never experienced anything drastic, like they are saying in books. I just felt that I would be more comfortable if I take 1/2 of a pill less. That was all. I was doing this while I was still on t4/t3 combo. I recently started to take only t3, so I won't be needing rt3 clearing anymore.

Hey this is my first post but I'll add my 2 cents.. Basically to clear rt3 one must stop the consumption of t4. This is because t4 converts to rt3 therefore stopping it will deminish the levels of rt3 eventually and when you start t3 only one should stop converting to rt3
