My GP has telephoned to say that she can no longer prescribe T3-------after using it for 9 years! Before that I was very ill on T4 only. Thanks to Dr P's advice I was able for 4 years to buy the T3 from Mexico, until they had a problem. Please can someone send a private message telling me where I can get T3?

Brooksey, I would ask the practice to put in writing their reason for withdrawing T3. You can appeal the decision with the CCG and should attach the practice letter and cc your MP. I'm very suspicious that withdrawal is sometimes made on a cost basis. Patients are not supposed to suffer because of the cost impact on drug budgets.
