I have been taking T3 for over 2 months after coming off Levo. I have felt really well but the last week I seem to have taken a step back, getting the tiredness, headaches and muscle pain. What has gone wrong? anyone have some good advice
taken a step back: I have been taking T3 for over... - Thyroid UK
taken a step back
Pepali, The symptoms could be due to overmedication now that FT3 levels have built up, or may be due to undermedication. Best to have a FT3 test to check level before adjusting dose.

I was on 125 mcgs doctor reduced to 100 but that is when I felt worse.I am taking T3 thankyou for responding
Sorry Pepali, but that's a bit confusing. You've mentioned "grains" which is a term that's used to describe the amount of natural dessicated thyroid (brands include Armour, Nature Thyroid, Thiroyd etc). NDT contains T3 and T4, whereas T3 is just, well, T3. Which is it?
I think that's a mix of T4 and T3 .... does it not say anywhere on the bottle of what the active ingredients are?
