Last night i had 4 small glasses of bailey,s went to ved took my thyroxine and 2 hours later had severe palpitations and rapid pulse rate. This is the second time this has happened.any connection with my meds ?

I find if I consume alcohol at least 2 hours before i try to sleep I am ok. Giving your body a chance to push the alcohol out of your system before you try to sleep is a good move. I think we get rid of alcohol at about 0.5 to 1 unit per hour. Drinking water helps too.
