TRH stimulation test?

This article about the Autism-Thyroid connection states that the more sensitive TRH stimulation test is most effective in diagnosing thyoid issues in autistic children.

Please can anyone tell me if the NHS will run this test, and if not, a private doctor/lab who will?

I have often wished NHS should check Autism for low thyroid and vitamin D too, but they would probably think we were mad and call in the white coat brigade to haul us away.

Do let me know if I am wrong in my diagnosis josiesmum.
