Dmannose

Hi after suffering from numerous urine infections and many doses of antibiotics I am looking at prevention rather than cure. I think I saw Mary F mention Dmannose but after looking on line at them I am unsure which to get. Would appreciate advice. Sorry its not really thyroid related

D-mannose is brilliant for prevention & cure. Take for a few weeks if you've had chronic issues then keep some on hand just in case!

Thank you Sally, seems everyone agrees it works so I am going to give it a go, nothing to lose . Thanks again for your reply

Thanks I am so desperate, had so many antibiotics in the last six months I think that I am resistant to them. I will definately get some

My elderly Mum had a fistula between her bowel and bladder which resulted in constant urine infections. When she had antibiotics for it she ended up with C. difficile (twice) and was extremely ill as a result. I got her some d mannose powder from Waterfall or Sweet Cures in the UK (great website, very informative) and it was like magic. She called it her 'fairy dust'. She took it every day to prevent the infections. We also bought it from Now Foods at iHerb which worked out a bit cheaper and was still completely effective. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply, I can sympathise with your Mum having had constant infections since May this year, had loads in past but never so many in such a short time. I am definately going to get some, I have nothing to lose except another lot of antibiotics. I'll have a look at Now Foods, I don't mind what it costs if it works. Thanks again
