Things are going well...

I saw my Endo this afternoon who had agreed to monitor me on Armour Thyroid for 3 months.( Which I buy myself )

I reported that I feel so much better....much more motivated and each day thinking about all I want to do........this past week I have repotted my orchids... all supermarket special offers that have finished blooming and were looking a bit sick and I have also made 2 Christmas cakes .......caught up with e mails and the ironing is up to date!!

Well...it's a good start surely !! ( I hasten to add I didn't tell him all that )

Endo is pleased with my blood tests and has raised my Armour dose to 1 1/2 grains for the next 3 months and to also maintain my B12 and Vit D3 through Winter until my next appointment in February........and then go to Florida for some sunshine!!

............Is that on the NHS??...... That would be good wouldn't it!! Tee Hee !

One of my problems has been muscle pain,but just beginning to feel that I'm moving a bit better too,so time to push myself to get out and do some short walks and gradually build up the muscles again..........I'm hopeful.

It's great when your energy returns. Just for info in case 1.5 gr needs an increase before the 3 months.

Thanks Shaws.....it was a good visit.My Endo didn't seem too concerned about test results unless my TSH became too suppressed and sent me hyper.He was more interested in how I felt which was refreshing.

I asked him about T3 as I was hearing that many GPs were now not prescribing it and he confirmed that was so.Our area is OK at the moment but would not be surprised if there is a letter to our health authority soon.
