I too received this as my daily mail from Joe ! I did think about posting it early this morning but changed my mind ! Am always posting something that I think interesting - which does not always create a response - so decided against it.

So thanks to you for posting it - I thought it was a great article.....

People are often critical of JM - but he does heighten our awareness and is NOT a charlatan as he is often described on some other sites.... just because he is also selling products. Well we do not have to buy then..... :-)

On the whole I agree, a good article. And millions of people get his emails, so it's great that he's spreading awareness.

However, I do have a problem with this statement:

Bioidentical thyroid hormones — which is what I recommend using — include Nature-Throid and Westhroid. They're made from desiccated pig thyroid glands and contain the full spectrum of thyroid hormones: T4, T3, T2, and T1.

Non of the manufacturers of prescription desiccated thyroid claim that their products contain anything other than the T4 and T3 hormones (ignoring excipients of course).

So I believe it is wrong to continue to perpetuate this 'assumption' that there will be a T2 and T1 content, when there is nothing to back it up from the manufacturers themselves.

Hi Redapple, got to say always thought that it had the lot in it, as it is natural, just varied a bit, as it is natural. Anyway just posted another amusing article, which I think that you will all enjoy.
