Hi folks! I'm at a loss as to why my heart rate is high. I was diagnosed hypo a year ago, took levo for 8 months then switched to Armour (now on it for 4 months). Did well initially but had palps and anxiety once I got to 2.5 grains so dropped back to 2 grains. Bloods showed T4 16.9 (mid range) and T3 6.8 (bang on top of range). Dropped to 1.5 but symptoms persisted so doctor started me on adrenals support as Genova had shown cortisol levels to be low, low, very low, high. Tried NAX but palps and anxiety got worse so changed to Thorne adrenal cortex which has really helped. Palps pretty much gone and anxiety reduced. But...my resting heart rate is rarely below 90 bpm. My temp seems to be a little high too (over 99) but I was told this might be due to raised antibodies. Any suggestions welcome. 😊

Nikki, have you had ferritin tested? Low ferritin/iron can cause fast pulse/heart rate and palpitations, and can make it difficult tolerating dose increases.
Thank you. Yes, my ferritin was tested a couple of weeks ago and it was 72. It had been 30 in May and I've been taking Spatone. Can't remember my iron result but it was good too.
Thanks again. I take 1000mcg Vit C so I'll keep up with the Spatone too. 😊
