RAI and airports
Ravensgeo, it can set off alarms but the hospital yellowcard will make it clear to security why, if it does.
I was stopped at the airport recently but I think it was the wire's in my bra. If it happens to you just show your card.
I had RAI approximately 4/5 weeks before I travelled. The alarm went off at airport here & I told them I had a card & letter but they did not want to see it, they just scanned me with the hand scanner & a quick body search & sent me through. If you are going to USA it's completely different as the immigration officers wear an alarm on belt so before you go through any scanners alarms are going off.
No meds yet had first blood test this week post RIA .to see appalling endo when i get back. I assume if it has worked they will try to put me on levo. I have been told they will never test me for t3 or give me NDT. I am feeing worse as the days goes on. Pain in muscles and joints, Some discomfort round neck and very very dry mouth,I assume this is all par for the course.
tank you for your reply. i am dreading the visit to the endo as i know she will prescribe levo and i really don't want it.we are considering just accepting the prescription but actual self medicating on NDT,there is no way they will prescribe it.
