Feeling down!!
Arrh Razzar,
It's only because it's the end of the day.....
Go to bed, sleep well and tomorrow..."..new day...new hopes....new life.."...
Think how far you have come already.
Flower
Ty flower just feel useless but u always have kind words x especially when people at home are so ignorant. Just wish they could walk a day in my shoes maybe they wouldn't be so nasty x
hi Razzar1977 i take it your having a bad day today, i know how you feel sometimes you wonder why should i keep going on like this you have friends that care about you and that love you for who you are not what you are, if i hadn't met you i be lonely but i have a new friend that i hope i can share a thought and a laugh just to try and cheer ourselves up. its not life that we lead and sometime wonder why me, there a very large boat that we are all in and there seams to be no way out, but one thing we have is friendship and that is worth more than all the gold on the earth, it might stink to be in the way but if there a way out i hope we will be there together even if we just met to say hello then that's what our lives are at this moment a waiting time for something better than this take care your from your friend in nutty land Alan xxxx
Ty bigAlan very loverly words it's very sweet if you. I guess just angry people should always assume that your happy all the time which is fine when people don't know you. When it's ur own family you would think that they would know that if I had a bad say and feel really crap that if I snapped at them , you would think that they would know you enough to know you never meant to be angry at them in that moment in time. I guess that's what's so nice about this group everyone is in the same boat and that we all have our struggles. Spk soon x
Razz, I'm afraid you are going to have to expect both ups and downs with this. You have to give your body a chance to repair but I'm sure you will eventually have more ups than downs. You may have to give it more support. It does take some trial and error. Most people need more magnesium and vitamin C. If people are being cruel, there is something wrong with them. They have worse problems than you do if they need to act that way.
Am afraid even though our families love us -they don't tread the same path. So they might not get really what you are going through. What they see is that you are getting better -but unfortunately they don't want to see the ups and downs that is the process of healing. I certainly have found this with my family, so the snapping they don't get -not do they necessarily get its probably happened because the minute you had a bit of energy you pushed your self harder (so good to start to be able to do things once more) and then of course you crash feeling rubbish. All this will level out in time but it's all so intangible and your family can't easily see this. Big hugs xxx
Ty wavylines it just frustrates me I'm trying to be there as much as I can. Guess I'm more frustrated at myself think I'm being over sensitive lol I can just see their frustration and it always seem on a never ending losing battle. Hopefully after years of feeling crappy maybe I will start to feel better as I'm on right med's now tc hugs back x
Hang in there girl! Thyroid disease is a complex one. Can you break it down into symptoms and put a list here for others who may be able to help? you sent me a nice message and I appreciate it. We all have lives too that are sometimes very challenging and I am sure our ability to cope is compromised by the thyroid hormonal brain imbalance which upsets coping. Hope you understand the last long sentence! I am sure there are many of us feeling the same pain, on and off. sending you a blast of love xxxx
Syptoms : feeling lathargic all the time feeling tired not always being able to sleep even though ur body wants to give in. I wish I could say I get sleep in the day but I don't. Wanting to say something and mid sentence forget what the hell I was saying. Looking at objects and forgetting what they are called and getting that frustrated have to point to them. Joint muscle pains. Constipation so bad you might not go for a week...that syptom seems to be better. Hair loss to point scared brush my hair and my nails breaking and yellowing oh weight gain and severe fluctuations which I find this 1 hard to deal with. Really just Damn frustration and bitterness that I can't get the energy to take my kids to the park or even just sit and do normal stuff I used too. Hope this helps . Ty sue very appreciated throwing a blast of love back atcha xx
Jeez Louise! You sound soooo underactive in the thyroid dept! Hair loss, lethargy, can't sleep, active mine, weight gain, brain fog etc you poor darling. Who wouldn't be frustrated with all you have going on? Your hormonal systems is so out of whack your body doesn't know how to cope. I hope you can find a doctor who does both western medical and naturopathic medicine. Even though you don't have the energy and maybe money please advocate for yourself and get some satisfaction and quality of life back. I will send you more of a email later, gotta go out. Hang in there girl. You are not alone. xxxxxxxxxx
Very hypo my last test tsh was 92 but doc tried to say I was slightly out of range. Well I don't know what planet she did her training on but my endo said he was shocked I was walking. Apparently my T4 stopped working for me in 2011 from bloods he pulled out and couldn't understand why I had not been referred before. No more doc for me she nearly done me in lol. Ty I'm on right med's now seen alot of improvement and my mydexma is going away slowly. Ty everybody's been so nice hope spk soon xx
And then another day you will be able to do something more active and probably your family thinks......how come she could yesterday but not today......very frustrating all round as it makes it hard to predict.
With the list of symptoms you have listed it will take a while longer but you are on the way up. I found some symptoms eased quicker than others. Dr Skinner and Dr Pearfield both talk about a rough order of what improves when......having said that the time periods they describe did not apply to me but nevertheless it was a reassuring read. Thyroid UK have a library and loan system if you haven't their books.... Xx
That's it exactly I've gone from being able to doing everything to nothing it's hard but everyone is in same situation on here. I wouldn't wish this illness on my worse enemy. ...ok maybe 1 lol. It robs people of their lives and don't know how docs get it soo wrong. Ty that's good to know I really need to research this illness. Just when u think u have it sussed it kicks u in teeth again x
It's a shame that doctors don't know much about thyroid disease but hey I guess we can't have it all . I'm lucky alot of people doctors refuse to refer them cos they think they know better . It is a bumpy road x
