Have been inundated with advice lately. Told to stop having gluten as likely to be intolerant. What is a good diet and vitamin supplement for my condition?
First, if your GP hasn't tested your Vitamin B12 (hormone) and Vitamin D (pro hormone) plus iron, ferritin and folate ask for these to be done. If hypo we are usually deficient.
Vitamin C is also a good vitamin and it also helps to convert T4 to T3 (the active hormone) you can take it in your glass of water when you take levo. I use the powdered variety and it lasts a long time, 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon.

I wasn't diagnosed specifically with a gluten problem and decided to cut out bread for a while and noticed the difference in a week, so I try and get wheat alternatives, I know others go on a strict diet but I don't feel the need for this - yet, maybe one day.
Definitely badger your doc to test your Vit D, B12 and ferretin, it's been a revelation the advice on here for me
