if istart taking vitamin b12.how long would i have to be off it before a blood test.i would like to try ot to see if it helps.but i also want to see of my doctor will test me for it.

Lizcosgrove, ask for a B12 test before supplementing. You want to know your baseline result to estimate what dose you need. You need to be off B12 for 4 months to get a baseline result as it takes 120 days for red blood cells to die off and renew. Thanks. Been taking b12 +b6for a few days so i will stop them, until i see my gp.
