Just read on T UK site that the summer weather can cause our thyroids to work more efficiently - so we may need to adjust our medication.
I understood that any changes in meds take several weeks to be fully effective, so how do we do it ?

cut down a bit and store your levo for the winter months when you'll probably need more, if you want to...
Squirrel/bear advice x
Daffers, only reduce dose if you feel overmedicated.
Oh bummer I was just starting to feel a bit more normal, still having to sleep in day (bit of a prob when falling asleep at work and at traffic lights!) But brain fog so much better in between times prob the best so far since TT last December. I'm ess d to think I'm gonna be worse again. Got more tests Oct fingers crossed I'll get more help!
Meant I'm SAD not ess d, strange predictive text sorry
But, mrsm49, you Don't HAVE to reduce your Levo in summer. It's just that as our thyroids start to work better, some people start to feel a little hyper. But that's only people on the correct dose for them. If you feel better on your dose, and know you would feel worse on a lower dose, even though it is summer, stay on that dose. There's no law says you must reduce.
