I used to have this, stopped me in my tracks......mine is related to gluten and I believe to being under medicated at the time, don't get them now and haven't for a while now I am optimally medicated. They are vile, I feel for you. x
Just wondered if you'd had your vitamin b12 tested Sam? I've had migraine for years but found it has disappeared, along with many other symptoms, since avoiding gluten and supplementing with Jarrows Methylcobalamin 5000 mcg.
Over the years, I'd been prescribed BP medication, acid suppressants and PPI s, which all deplete B12 ! Also, as we age stomach acid is reduced, making B12 harder to absorb.

High serotonin is linked to migraine, apparently. I suspect it takes a while to build up, then hits you so you don't want to eat (so your levels drop) and the cycle begins again.
