Hi all nearly a year since diagnosis on 50 mcg levo gotta say don't feel better more symptoms appearing every month just turned 39 but feel about 80 please tell Mr it gets better than this :(

Hi sarahmarie and welcome.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling good. Have you been on 50 mcg for a whole year and is your doctor testing you regularly?

You will need to get your latest thyroid blood test results so that knowledgeable members can comment on them for you. You can ask at your surgery and they are obliged to give them to you, either verbally or as a print out. You are within your rights to have them and they really shouldn't mind giving them to you.

It's most likely that 50 mcgs is not enough levo for you. My doctor left me on 50 mcgs for five months and when she retested my TSH was almost back to where it was when I started and I was feeling really dreadful again.

You will feel better but it can be a hard slog. Keep posting your questions here.
