Went up from 30 mcg t3 to 35 mcg ,TSH was 15 and t3 was 4.7.Did this 5 days ago,feel dreadful today,could it be raise has made me feel hyper or be hyper already ? Really want to raise to 40 mcg as soon as possible.Still getting these red hot cheeks ,do you think high tsh can cause this or would it be the t3.Thanks.

Susiebow, I don't think a 5mcg increase is likely to make you hyper but because you are sensitive to dose increases it probably is the 5mcg increase which is making you feel rough. I would wait until you feel ok with this increase before going up to 40mcg. I really don't know whether your hot cheeks are a response to T3 or your high TSH.
OK Thanks Clutter,I do feel bad anyway ,but just worse at present.Cutter do you know how long it would take for TSH to stabilse with t3 ,I am aware that it takes about 6 weeks when taking thyroxine.
