Just a quick question I am on 50 mg of Levo. Has anybody tried varying their dose. I am thinking of trying 75 mg every other day to see if that makes a difference. Many thanks in advance

Yes, I think you should give it a try as 50mcg is a starting dose usually. Before the blood tests were introduced in the '60's along with levo, the usual dose of NDT was between 200 and 400mcg.
I think varying the dose each day confuses the body. If you're trying for 62.5 mg, you could cut a 125 mg pill in half and take that daily instead.
Hi HIFL, I don't think any UK supplier does 125 mcg tablets. It would need to be a 50 mcg + half of a 25 mcg tablet.
I take 75 mcg one day then 100 mcg the next and have had no problems. This was because my GP increased my dose to 100 mcg a day but that proved to be too much so we agreed to lower it slightly.
I am thinking of taking 75 mg every other day rather than 50 mg a day. I might not have explained myself properly in my initial post
