I am researching Iodine at the moment and wondered if anyone has tried lugols with any success?

Iodine supplementation is fraught with potential severe problems. It can lead to situations such as "thyroid storm" where the thyroid output goes crazy in a severe hyperthyroid episode. This should not be undertaken except under the closest expert medical supervision.
