How long to recover from a TT?

My sister has been advised to have a TT following a FNA result of 4 showing signs of papillary cancer. How long after the operation will she need to recover? I had a hemilobectomy in Novemeber so have experience of that but wondered if recovery following a TT is likely to be longer.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Churchie, Oh I'm sorry to hear that. Recovery from TT will be the same as recovery from hemi. Get your sis to have her vitD checked now and to supplement if necessary as she'll benefit post op.

I spotted a comment somewhere the other day.... It said time to get dosage right after a tt was between 3 months and 24 months. Will backtrack and see if I can find it.
