Please I need advise on endocrinologists in Scotland willing to consider treating with nature thyroid. Willing to go private to see them.

Been on levothyroxine for 2 years and still hypothyroid and feeling ill and very depressed. Dont have large bowel and only minimal small intestine so dont know how well I absorb medication. I am trying to get tested for T3 and antibodies after research and have been refused help by my endocrinologist. I will travel to see one privately that is more open minded and willing to listen to how I feel. Does anyone know of doctor in Scotland or North England. Thanks im really desperate.

I don't know of one personally. I did, but unfortunately he died last year. I think the last of the doctors trained as medical students to recognise and treat patients by the 'look' of the patient plus family history and clinical symptoms.
