T3 - stock problems?

I seem to have a problem obtaining T3. Any advice re stocks?

This is becoming far too frequent with T3. I have heard nothing but am well stocked at the moment. Have you tried ringing around all your local pharmacies? When this happened in 2013, I rang everyone in yellow pages and then asked my practice for extra prescriptions, so I could go and collect what I had tracked down. I was on T3 only at the time, so it was vital to have it.

Don't tell me they have run out AGAIN. They've only had a new batch delivered a couple of months ago. They also ran out May 2013.

Numberone, is the difficulty in obtaining prescribed Liothyronine or self medicated T3 via the internet?

Hi Numberone1,

My pharmacy is managing to get my T3 every month and they haven't mentioned a problem with supply. When I was first put on this nearly a year ago it was difficult for them to get, but since my GP has put it on the electronic prescription service my pharmacy has managed to order it in for me every month.

Advice is always to contact Mercury Pharma (Amdipharm). It is their product and they should both know and be able to tell you if there are supply issues.
