Because its really hard to find out EXACTLY what's in it! Does anybody know? I am taking it again and feel better for it, but obviously worry in case it isn't safe (although Abigail seems fine).
Thanks in advance!

Grace, it doesn't look as if anyone knows. Contact the Nutri Centre - details in this link thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm...
I hope you're both doing well and you're able to get some sleep in between feeds
Despite numerous threads on this very topic, we still have never seen a satisfactory, definitive statement.
I am always concerned that it is likely to have exactly what the medical establishment often claims about prescription-quality desiccated thyroid products like Nature-Throid, Erfa and Armour - variable potency. The wording always seems calculated to deceive - either the authorities (so that they don't react if it does contain thyroid hormones) or the patients (so they can't complain if it does contain any thyroid hormones)!
I'll never criticise people taking it, each person has their own reasons and their own experiences, but I do criticise the entire marketing exercise.
