It could be related to hashimotos which is an inflammatory disease.
Jayton, I was in considerable musculoskeletal pain and my ferritin was very high last year. I'm not sure whether it was due to not being on optimal thyroid replacement, vitD and folate deficiency, or both. Optimal replacement and supplements sorted the deficiencies and the pain resolved but I haven't had a repeat ferritin test to see whether it is now in range.
Doc took lots of blood tests on Tuesday so hopefully will get a result this time. Thanks
