Hypothyroid and baker cyst

I didn't know what a Bakers Cyst is and found this-
Associated diseases[5]
Osteoarthritis is the most common condition associated with a Baker's cyst (50.6%). Rheumatoid arthritis is another common association (20.6%). Baker's cyst rupture is more common in inflammatory arthritis.[8] In children, the condition may be linked to juvenile arthritis, septic arthritis, osteochondritis dissecans and hypermobility syndrome.[9]
Other reported associations include gout, intramuscular cavernous haemangioma, pigmented villonodular synovitis, Reiter's syndrome, psoriasis, systemic lupus erythematosus, meniscal and anterior cruciate ligament tears, osteochondral fractures, tuberculosis, chronic dialysis, haemophilia, hypothyroidism and sarcoidosis.
I have had a baker's cyst, due to having osteochondritis dissecans. I also have hashimotos. You obviously have arthritis and I have found that during many spells on the orthopaedic ward that many patients have hypothyroidism. One doctor admitted that there is a direct connection.
